On Feb 20 th 2005 Esak Garcia became the 1st ever male champion of the annual International Asana Championship, the Bishnu Charan Ghosh Cup. Since then Esak has been promoting Asana Championships, coaching other competitors, helping modern yogis to understand the meaning of yoga competition, and doing yoga seminars.
